We also look at the stones in your jewelry

At De Gouden Kluis we do not only examine the gold. We also check whether valuable gemstones are incorporated in your jewel. And importantly: we do not remove stones without consultation.

• We inspect the gemstones (visually or with a magnifying glass/microscope)

• We explain whether they add value to the piece

• If necessary, we dismantle the stones

• You will receive an offer that accurately reflects the whole

With small diamonds (such as pavé stones or brilliants in row settings), the focus is often on the gold.

For larger or certified diamonds, the value is determined separately. In that case, we work with gemologists at Lusso Diamonds for a fair assessment according to 4C's: cut, color, clarity, carat.

You choose what happens

Do you want to keep the stone? No problem, in consultation we can carefully remove gemstones or diamonds from your jewelry before you take them with you.

If you want to sell the whole piece, the value of the stones will be correctly included in the price.
